Hello and thank you for taking the time learn about me! As you know my name is Chris Cowley and I am a Realtor in the greatest city in the world, San Antonio, TX. I live here with my awesome wife Tracie, and the coolest (maybe craziest) little boy you'll ever meet, Max. My wife was born and raised in San Antonio, and although I was not born here, once I got moved here I quickly learned how great this city of ours is!
The move to San Antonio happened for me in January of 2000 when I accepted a job with Pulte Homes as a Sales Manager for one of their communities. Working for, what was at that time, the nation's largest builder was an great experience because I was given training that far exceeded the industry standard. My time at Pulte was marked with great successes. One being awarded Sales Manager of the Month the very first month I was in my neighborhood. That initial award was the first of many for me over the course of the 3+ years I worked with Pulte. I was blessed enough to win many Sales Person of the Month awards, along with several Sales Person of the Quarter Awards, and the Pulte Mortgage Team Player of the Quarter Award All of those awards truly were a great blessing, but the award I look back on with the most pride didn't come in the form of a plaque but in the recognition that every year I was at Pulte Homes I was consistently among the top sales managers in regards to customer satisfaction. That means so much to me, because that is how I wanted to build my sales career. My thought was just do the right thing by people, always try to be "in the right", and let the business end of your job take care of itself. That it did as I was never out of the top 5 in sales every year I was there! It was fun, but in 2003 it was time for a change.
2004 through early 2007 I was employed by Meritage Homes, again as a sales manager. Boy, that time I was blessed enough to have everything good hit all at one time! The market was booming, and I had all the experience I needed to make the most of it! Those years were one success after another. The first big award was coming in second as Sales Person of the Year in 2005, but winning the award because I had prefect JD Powers customer satisfaction score. That means 100% of all the people surveyed said they would recommend doing business with me to a friend! How great is that! That really let me know my strategy of working with folks was working out. In 2006 I won the award that had been just out of reach, Meritage Homes Sales Person of the Year! Finally! I never won that award at Pulte or Mertiage up until that point. It was an accomplishment I was very proud of, but it was time for me to leave so early in 2007 I left Meritage Homes and joined John Thurman at Heart of Texas Realty. We've been rocking along since then doing our best to provide top customer service to people buying and selling real estate in San Antonio.
